Patsime Trust is implementing a cultural exchange programme with a Unga Una, a Swedish cultural exchange organisation. The exchange entails bringing together young people from Zimbabwe and Sweden to share experiences, cultures and challenges which they together find solutions to. One of the solutions has been psychosocial support to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) mainly educational support in Zimbabwe. It is against this background that the Jasen Mphepo Scholarship Fund was established in 2016, The fund supports children from poor backgrounds with School Fees, Uniforms and Stationery. In 2016 Patsime Trust identified and adopted two poor schools in Mashonaland West Karoi. The schools are called Mlichi Primary and Mlichi Secondary Schools.
Mlichi schools are visibly poor, characterised with poor physical learning and sports structures and insufficient study materials and poor learners who come from poor families and cannot afford school fees.
Since the adoption of the school, the Jasen Mphepo Scholarship fund has been paying the school fees and providing uniforms and stationery to scholarship beneficiaries who amount to 15 learners.
You support can come in form of the following
Financial support for payment of fees and for other financial needs of the learners
Material support in form of Uniforms and stationery
